Matthew 3 11-17
The fire
v11 John's baptism -by water for repentance.
John points to Christ: He will baptize you with the
Holy Spirit and with fire.
Jesus' baptism

The Spirit appears as a Dove
The Father speaks.
Note: The Father, Son and the Holy Spirit working in
unison.
Our experience can be similar to the Heavenly
pattern: Acts 2:38
Repent
Be baptized
You shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit
We can know open access to Heaven, to the throne of
grace
We can know the baptism and anointing of the Holy
Spirit
We can know that inward assurance of the Father's
voice (see Romans 8:15).
